Web browser for DM500s

Can anyone advise me whether there is a way i can use my Dreambox as a web browser so i can browse the internet on my tv and also maybe watch some internet streaming.

i recall i had installed links webbrowser on my dm7000 that are enigma1 like yours
and it worked with the remote both as mouse and a keyboard
i don't know about you can install it on a dm500
i think you need at least a usb stick or a hdd to install it on

Once i delete all things from my dreambox and install browser and but i my box was empty,so if u want browser use your pc,phone,laptop,or something else, dm500 is only for watching tv D

Wow...I didn't knew you can view pages with dm500s...
Especially if you have the cloned one...

QT WebBrowser only works on enigma2 models

Do you have a link to the QT WebBrowser. I cant seem to find it on the web. I assume it is a plugin?

do a little work for yourself
just use the correct search words
like QT WebBrowser+enigma2

web browser no because this receiver is so limited, but you CAN make a minimal web page and host it on your dm500s
search on Blue Panel/Services Daemons for http server

No it won't work.
It works only on enigma 2 mainly but only on few.
The dm500s isn't able to open webpages.
To surf in the internet you need a pc
